The purpose of this E-Portfolio is to showcase the different media projects I have completed while enrolled at the University of Florida as a graduate student in the College of Education. I am originally from the east coast of Florida, but now I live on the west coast with my husband and five-year-old son. I am in my ninth year as an educator, and I have taught English, journalism, and various electives all at the secondary level. The skills I have developed as a student range from research to design and beyond. My goal is to move beyond the classroom and facilitate learning from a more widespread role, whether it is as a trainer for educational technology or content developer for curriculum and instruction.

Image Editing

For my first project, I designed a book cover for one of my favorite novels and a logo for an idealized business. The cover was designed using Canva and the logo was created on Inkscape.
